RiseUp is a mission-based alarm clock that forces you to complete a physical or mental task before the alarm turns off. No more snoozing — you have to earn your silence.
Set an alarm and choose a mission. When your alarm goes off, the only way to stop it is to complete your assigned mission — like doing push-ups, taking a photo of the sky, or reading an affirmation. If you don't complete the mission, the alarm keeps coming back.
RiseUp includes 20+ missions across multiple categories:
Yes. Tap any alarm to edit it, then tap the Mission section to browse and select a different mission.
The alarm will keep sending follow-up notifications at your selected interval until you either complete the mission or use Emergency Dismiss.
Yes. RiseUp includes a library of alarm sounds, including our trending RiseUp original sounds. You can preview each sound before selecting it, and search through the full library in the alarm editor.
Yes. RiseUp uses Apple's AlarmKit to deliver alarms whether your phone is locked or unlocked. You'll receive a notification that opens the app directly to your mission screen.
Yes. You can set alarms to repeat on specific days of the week — perfect for weekday routines or weekend schedules.
Emergency Dismiss is a backup option that lets you silence the alarm without completing the mission. It counts as a missed mission in your stats and breaks your streak.
No. RiseUp uses Apple's native alarm scheduling system, which is optimized for minimal battery impact.
Every time you complete a mission, your streak grows. Miss a day or use Emergency Dismiss, and your streak resets. Streaks help you build consistency and stay accountable.
RiseUp tracks your wake-up history, mission completion rate, average completion time, favorite missions, and monthly calendar view so you can see your progress over time.
RiseUp offers two subscription plans:
Both plans include a free 3-day trial so you can try everything before you're charged.
Yes. Every new subscriber gets a 3-day free trial with full access to all missions, alarm sounds, insights, and premium features. You won't be charged until the trial ends.
You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings:
You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Yes. After your 3-day free trial, your selected plan auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Open RiseUp → Settings → tap Restore Purchases. This will sync any active subscription tied to your Apple ID.
Yes. You can change your plan through your Apple ID subscription settings. The new plan takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Subscription refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
RiseUp uses Sign in with Apple for fast, private, and secure account creation. Just tap the button and authenticate with Face ID or your passcode.
RiseUp collects only what's necessary to run the app — your alarm settings, mission history, and streak data. We do not store any photos, videos, or voice recordings. Media captured during missions is analyzed instantly by AI on your device and is never uploaded or saved.
No. Your personal data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. You can request account deletion from within the app under Settings, or by emailing support@tryriseup.app. We'll delete all your data within 30 days.
Make sure RiseUp has notification permissions and alarm permissions enabled:
Make sure your phone isn't on silent mode (check the physical mute switch). Also verify the selected sound in your alarm settings — tap the alarm to edit and confirm your sound choice.
Ensure RiseUp is allowed to run in the background and has full notification permissions. Restart the app if the issue persists, and contact us at support@tryriseup.app if it continues.
This can happen if the app was force-closed during the mission. Make sure to keep the app open until you see the completion confirmation. If this was an error, reach out to support@tryriseup.app.
Some missions (like Photo Proof or Voice Affirmations) require camera or microphone access to verify completion. Your media is processed instantly on-device and is never stored or uploaded.
